European Union Funding for Research - The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7)
FP7 applies for the years 2007-2013. It builds on the former research programs, but there are news:
- Budget is increased by 63%
- Focus on themes has been increase
- Regions of knowledge will bring together partners within a specific geographical region
Research in water:
There are 7 themes – 3 are mainly relevant for water and environment:
- Environment (including Climate Change)
- Information and Communication Technologies
- Food, agriculture and fisheries
EU – Waternet will bring information about the themes and calls with relevant for the Danish water sector.
